Walk from the well-known village of Hartington into Wolfscote Dale, wih its high slopes, then onto the Tissington Trail and eventually to Biggin. There may be some wildflowers to look out for at this point of spring, but certainly good views.
The group does not stop at cafes or pubs for lunch, and you should bring enough food and drinks with you to last the whole walk. We usually stop for a coffee break an hour or so into the walk, and for packed lunch around 1230-1300, although weather and suitable locations may affect both timings.
Risk assessment: The walk leader has assessed this walk for the following risks, but during the walk others may become evident. You will come across stiles, gates and other path furniture, and possibly busy points in the Dales.
You may also come across steep or rocky trails, muddy/slippery/flooded sections of path, inclement weather, some farm livestock & warning signs. You are asked to be aware and take individual responsibility.
