Meet Point: Near the ticket barriers, or on the platform at Piccadilly Station. Alternatively, meet the group on the train, or at the Walk Start at Heaton Chapel Railway station

 

Transport to Walk Start: 11:51 train to Heaton Chapel

Suggested Ticket: Off Peak Day Return to Stockport £5.70

Walk Start:  Heaton Chapel Railway Station at 12:00pm 

Waypoints: Black Brook Path, The Meadow, Nelstrop Road North,  Houldsworth Park, Reddish Green,  Reddish Vale Country Park, Midshire Way, TP Trail, Stockport Market.

Extra: Toilets at Piccadilly Station.  No toilets at walk start.   Toilets may be available/open at the lunch break in Reddish Vale Country Park.

There will be no opportunity to purchase food/water at the walk start.  Please ensure that you bring with you enough food and water to sustain you for the duration of the walk. 

Please wear suitable footwear for walking (with a good sole - please, no sandals or Crocs ) required as some of the paths are uneven and may be muddy in parts. 

No dogs please, other than registered assistance dogs.

Optional drink at a pub at the end of the walk in Stockport town centre.
