We are the Kensington, Chelsea and Westminster Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

9 miles, moderate to leisurely pace, undulating hills, woodland, field paths, 3 lovely villages, 2 castles, may be muddy in places.
Route: From Hever along Eden Valley Walk, Chiddingstone, across fields to Penshurst and its park, River Medway, Leigh.
Drop out points: None
Food: lunch at Chiddingstone, picnic in churchyard or very nice café.
Meet at Hever station at 10.50.
Travel: London Bridge 10.07/East Croydon 10.21 - Uckfield train; Or Victoria 09.54/Clapham Junction 10.00/East Croydon 10.10 - Hastings train - changing at East Croydon to 10.21 Uckfield train arr 10.49.
Ticket/Fare: Buy Day Return - any journey permitted - to Leigh (Kent). About £21 (before any discounts). Freedom Pass holders buy from East Croydon.
Finish: It is hoped that the walk will finish at around 4.15.
