Overview

The walk out of Heytesbury follows level paths along the River Wylye towards Knook and Boyton. The route leads to the pretty village of Sherrington, with its interesting church and village pond. A path ascends the hillside and follows a downland track to Corton. Level field paths lead back to Heytesbury.
