Overview

From the Recreation Ground we head off through Northward Hill which is a National Nature Reserve.
We then walk towards the tiny village of St. Mary Hoo.  The church is a grade II listed building which is now a private residence.  There are also a couple of other old buildings in the area including the  Old School House and Rectory.  We will stop for a short break by the pond in the village. We  then head on to New Barn Farm via an Orchard.  Cross over the A228 and towards Fenn Street before heading back to High Halstow. Finishing time will be approximately 13:00 pm.
