Overview

We start by walking near to the source of the River Stour and follow the Stour Valley Walk until we reach Lenham Heath Road.  Then we walk through the grounds of Chilston Park Hotel and past Oast House Farm and its friendly Alpaca's.  We then head to Platts Heath, stopping in Affers Wood to find the source of the River Len. Following the path of the River Len, it soon opens up into a lake where we will have a lunch break.  After lunch we proceed to Boldrewood Farm, Ham Lane and back to Lenham.  Bring a picnic lunch for the stop by the lake.  There are a few stiles and sheep, so not recommended to bring a dog.
