We are the Medway Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

At the start we have a steady climb through farmland up to the North Down Way (steep at the end). We then walk across the Downs through woodland. We then descend the Downs for our short lunch stop at the ancient White Horse Stone. There are some steep steps on the way down. After lunch we proceed back to Penenden Heath via the remains of Boxley Abbey and Cuckoo Wood. Pub at end of walk (The Bull).
Terrain: Footpaths mainly through woodlands and farmland. Small amount of road walking. One stile.
Park and meet at Penenden Heath car park. Sandy Lane, nearest post code: ME14 2DQ. W3W:prom.best.tuned. Free parking. Toilets are available (if open).
