A circular walk, with some lovely paths, which stays above the 100m contour line nearly all the way round. We visit Roe’s plantation, Felicity’s Wood, the Outwoods, Woodhouse Eaves, Beacon Hill and Copt Oak.
The route is hilly but rewards with some great views if the weather is good.
Three stops are planned at the Outwoods (coffee and toilets available), Beacon Hill for lunch (toilets available) and Copt Oak for a break before the final footpath.
There are no stiles until we get to Copt Oak. The final path has multiple stiles but is a gradual descent back to the starting point.
