We start at Hope Bowdler village and make our way along country lanes, woodland paths and fields to Ragdon where we join the Cross Britain Way. From Sheep Dip we make the steep but short ascent to Ragleth Hill and enjoy stunning views over the Long Mynd and Wenlock Edge.
In the woods around Hazler Hill the first bluebells are starting to appear as well as many other beautiful wild flowers.
We pass the Gaer Stone and walk over Hope Bowdler hill with its ancient field system before making our way back to the starting point along Hope Batch
There will be a mid-morning break and stops for lunch and optional ICE CREAM (£2.60 for 120ml with a credit card, it's excellent). Bring a packed lunch.
There are a number of stiles to cross, they are mostly in good order. The ground is uneven, slippery and wet in places. Suitable footwear is essential.
