In mediaeval times drovers collected animals from farms and then ‘drove' them to market. They used routes often picked out by a simple landmark. The distinctive clump of trees on Brownlow Callow is still a Shropshire reference point.
A walk through woodland and open field paths, minor roads. Quite a few stiles along the way.

NOTE - the Stables Inn will be opening especially for us to have lunch after the walk.
Priority will be given to people wishing to walk and come for lunch as the pub needs to cover the costs of opening.
