Overview

As part of the annual Belle Vue Arts Festival Walk, we will lead a lovely 4.5 mile easy and scenic walk using part of the Shropshire Way starting at 9:30 a.m. by Greyfriars Footbridge on the Green. The route will be along the river, up to the wonderful view from Shrewsbury School, and round the river bend at Frankwell to Doctor's Field and back to the start through the Quarry Park. It will include some history of the local area, views of the town and the River Severn. There will be no stiles but there are some steps to ascend so please bring poles if you need them.
