Overview

A walk alongside the rivers Noe and Derwent from Hope Station, then via Brough, Shatton, Leadmill Bridge and along the Derwent Valley Heritage Way to Padley and Grindleford.

Walkers may leave the walk (after c5 mls) at Leadmill Bridge for train or bus back from Hathersage.

Catch the 10:14 Northern train from Sheffield train as far as Hope. Walk Leader will join train at Dore and Totley station en route.

Apart from incline out of Brough, walk is fairly level going.

Paths may be rough and muddy.

There are only 2 stiles but we will be going through 32 gates
