We are the Sheffield Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A walk from Hope Station, via Brough and Shatton, then alongside the rivers Noe and Derwent to Leadmill Bridge and then along the Derwent Valley Heritage Way to Padley and Grindleford.
Walkers may leave the walk (after c5 mls) at Leadmill Bridge for train or bus back from Hathersage.
Catch the 10:14 Northern train from Sheffield as far as Hope. Walk Leader will join train at Dore and Totley station en route.
Alternatively you can catch the 09:46 272 Castleton bound bus from Sheffield Interchange as far as the road up to Hope Rail Station. You'll need to walk up the road to join the walking party outside the rail station at c10:45.

Apart from the incline out of Brough, walk is fairly level going.
Paths may be rough and muddy, especially after recent rain. Please come prepared.
There are only 2 stiles but we will be going through 32 gates
