Overview

An attractive local walk with a variety of countryside and scenic views.

Starting from Kirknewton we go through the old Kirknewton House estate past little lochs to the old family burial ground with some interesting headstones. We then head through Kaimes wood and up Kaimes Hill and Dalmahoy Hill, short gentle slopes, for some lovely views across to Edinburgh and the Forth estuary. Return through mature woodland and farmland to Kirknewton.
