Overview

The Lawley on the northern edge of the Shropshire Hills is a great ridge walk.

After a short bus ride from Church Stretton to Longnor, we start with a level lane walk to the hills,  followed by a steady climb up the ridge to The Lawley summit.  The walk then takes us down through the Comley Valley to an undulating path along the lower slopes of  Caradoc.  We will descend  back to Church Stretton via field and woodland paths.   Hopefully we will be rewarded with stunning views of the Shropshire Hills and beyond.

Hill climbing will be taken at a pace to suit all and please bring food and drinks for an elevenses break and a picnic lunch.
