A linear walk along the scenic Mawddach Trail & ascending to the equally scenic Cregennan Lakes below the Cadair Idris range. Then a descent to end at the village of Fairbourne.

MUST CONTACT LEADER IF GOING.  From Meeting point at Fairbourne we get the G21 service bus at 1032 to Penmaenpool.   ( Alternatively one can do Aberystwyth to Penmaenpool by bus using 0835 T28 from Stand 4 to Machynlleth , then connecting G21 service to Penmaenpool via Fairbourne with return bus from Fairbourne to Aberystwyth at 1524 & train at 1704.)
