The Precipice Walk & Foel Offrwm

The rocky hill Foel Offrwm & the scenic Old Precipice walk can be handily accessed from one car park near Llanfachreth.  todays walk will start with The circuit of the Precipice walk. This has dramatic views into the Mawddach valley & of Llyn Cynwch.  The walk is fairly flat but rocky underfoot in places. After returning to the start & having lunch the walk continues around the base of Foel Offrwm with good views of Dolgellau & the Cadair Idris range. There is the optional ascent to the summit with the walls of its stone fort visible.
