We are the Shrewsbury Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
This walk will start along the Montgomery Canal from the Llanymynech Heritage car park towards Llynclys using the Shropshire Way, before entering the Shropshire Wildlife Trust site around Llynclys Hill, Crickheath Hill and Llanymynech Hill, on the Offa's Dyke path. It will be through woods, along a ridge with extensive views over the Tanat Valley and the Shropshire plain, and around the Limestone Quarry, with a chance to see early orchids, and other wildlife. Lovely views from Llanymynech Hill and Blodwel Rock.
