Circular walk starting from The Pig in Madehurst. Initial long steady ascent to walk around the top of Glatting Beacon (with brief detour to visit the trig), then a descent through Great Down. The last part of the walk is undulating. One stile. We will have two short breaks.
Parking is at The Pig BN18 0NL. As you approach Whiteways roundabout from Worthing direction, take the first exit and the turning to Madehurst is almost immediately on your right. Please park in the upper level - we have been given permission to park on the basis that some walkers will go for refreshments afterwards. There is a very nice terrace directly accessible from outside.
