Overview

We start at the village car park in Otford and have a quick look at the remains of the Archbishop’s Palace before we leave the village via the station and prepare for the steep climb up Otford Mount on the North Downs Way.  We then have the pleasure of coming downhill to the delightful village of Shoreham via the lovely church. We have our picnic lunch at the top of the next hill overlooking the village at Shoreham Cross.  Our route then takes us through Pilots Wood with  a slight diversion to stand on a bridge and marvel at the M25 far below us. Our route back to Otford is via the Darenth Valley Path.
