Meet at Mayday free parking on Shakers Lane - look out for Fire Post 6 at the top of a small rise on the left coming from Bury then turn down the track. We will walk through part of the beautiful Brandon Country Park, with a short break at the visitor centre where there is shelter and facilities. We will then skirt the edge of Brandon to reach High Lodge for our lunch break before making our way through the forest back to Mayday.
This walk replaces the walk from Lynford Stag as it offers more shelter from the weather.
