This is a short walk before the Ramblers Greater Manchester and High Peak Area Annual General Meeting. We will start at Mayfield Park, then follow the Manchester Green Trail through the Lower Medlock valley. At Holt Town, we cross to follow the Ashton Canal to New Islington through the Marina and Ancoats to Angel Meadows. Ending at Cross Street Chapel in time for a hot drink before the meeting starts.
The walk will be on mainly good paths, canal tow path and pavements, but some may still have leaves on and parts may be wet after heavy rain. Hot drinks provided at the venue but please bring your own food.
