Due to changes in the train timetables the details for this walk have change from the original programme.
A 6 Miles - Linear walk.
The walk is relatively flat and mostly the gates are kissing gates but a couple of stiles. The first part of the walk is road walking along a country road then we go mainly across farm land but round the edge of housing at Poynton and Bramhall. We finish up going through a 60s housing estate on our way back to the station. Most of the paths in between are quite good and some are tarmac, but part of the walk alongside Ladybrook is very muddy and boggy but hope this may have dried out a bit by the time we do the walk. Walking boots and sticks recommended.
There are no toilets or refreshment stops and there are no facilities at Bramhall station. The trains back from Bramhall are 31 minutes past the hour so we should get the 3.31 back from Bramhall.
Booking is required for this walk. Please ensure you book onto the walk by emailing the walk leader.
