Overview

A circular walk from the Fox at Carlton, Beds. The walk heads south to the village of Turvey where we in an easterly and north easterly direction on easy paths with emerging views of the Ouse Valley to our left. Passing a derelict farmhouse, we continue east before heading north and east to the edge of a spinney which should be adorned with bluebells. The walk then heads in a north easterly direction heading back towards Carlton with views of the valley ahead of us.

A very good value lunch can be obtained at the Fox and can be pre-ordered at 0930. Please park in the car park ONLY if you are staying for refreshments afterwards. There are no stiles and walking is generally easy. As there may be livestock in two fields, assisted dogs only can be accommodated on this walk.
