We are the Biddulph Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

Starting from the car park we cross the main road taking alleyways and tracks to pass The Old Man of Mow. Following the path down to Congleton Road where care is to be taken until we follow the path on our right taking us down to the Biddulph Valley Way.
At Wharf Road we turn right through Woodside Farm and zig zag our way back to Mow Cop along Akesmore Lane over the crossroads onto Biddulph Road where the footpath takes us to the rear of the Ash Inn.
The walk will take approximately 2 1/2 hours including a coffee/tea stop and allowing for 8 stiles mostly in good condition to be crossed.
Parking has been arranged with the landlord of "The Ash" from 3.30pm but asks that we park at the lower end of the car park.
