Overview

We head up Reservoir Road and take a footpath on the right, through woods onto a lane. We follow the lane past Pennant End, down bank to take a footpath on the left up the slope to another lane. We go along this lane and take a footpath on the left to Windgather Rocks. We go down through woods to pick up the Midshires Way to Taxal, and then we follow footpath signs back to Whaley Bridge.
