Overview

From the walk start point at the cattle grid near Llyn Eiddwen the route passes near the monument to the Bards of Mynydd Bach on the way to Trefenter (old village). The walk then carries onto the hinterland of Hafod Ithel, visiting two Bronze Age burial sites before finding Ffynnon Drewi - the ancient magical well.
