Overview

This walk uses the train to get to the start & to get from the finish. From Llwyngwril station the route follows the main road N for a short distance before a drop down towards the coast to follow a path before the railway line to the Quaker graveyard. From here ascend back up to cross the main road & a further ascent brings the route up to join the Wales Coast path. After passing the standing stones near Bryn Seward the coast path descends down through felled forestry . Near Cyfanedd Fawr the route deviates N from the Coast Path to descend down to cross the A493 & along a minor road to Morfa Mawddach station car park. From here a very scenic crossing of the Mawddach over the railway bridge to Barmouth
