This lovely circular walk will begin through the sand dune system of the Nature Reserve before reaching the coastal Haul Road from where we will see the extensive beach of Kenfig Sands.
We then turn east and follow the Wales Coast Path to the spot where in 1947 the Mumbles Lifeboat came to rest on its Ill-fated attempt to rescue the crew of the Samtampa. We will see the Marble memorial plaque where the Lifeboat came to rest.
N.B. The visit to the memorial will involve walking across the rocky foreshore.
We then continue past Rest Bay to Lock's Common from where we will head east to Nottage Court.
Moor Lane will take us to Parc Newydd Farm before we turn south-west to the historic Sker House.
Turning northward, we make our way across the Pyle and Kenfig Golf Club to the nature reserve visitors' centre.
