Nelson Pit CP (£3-70 charge) - 09-30 start time - 11 miles mod/stren - packed lunch - around 1800 ft of ascent

Route:- Haresteads Farm - Lyme Hall - Bowstone Gate - Gritstone trail - Sponds Hill - Further Harrop farm - Harrop Wood - Hedge Row - Beristall Dale - Andrews Knob - Bakestonedale Moor - Moorside Lane - Keepers Cottage - Moorside - West Parkgate - Green Farm - Canal and back to the cars.
There are options to cut the walk short if weather is bad.
