Simple walk using fields, bridleways and rural road.
5 stiles in total 3 of which would require any dogs to be lifted over.
Views over expansive open fields.
We will pass Cottam Power Station and this maybe the last time for us to see the Cooling Towers as they are earmarked for demolition.
There will be the usual coffee and lunch stops, so please bring your own refreshments and something to sit on.
Currently the ground is hard under foot but uneven in places. If it rains then one section could become muddy.
The nettles are growing to around ankle height so boots and high socks are recommended.
There is an opportunity for a drink in the Royal Oak at the end of the walk.
