Third in a series of linear walks - travelling from the northernmost point in Surrey (at the top of Wraysbury reservoir) to the southernmost point (on the slopes of Blackdown).
By this point you know the drill - finished at Worplesdon station last time, start from there. 09:54 from Farncombe gets in at 10:06, otherwise you'll need to get the train back at the end!
This is another one where we're going to be mainly following the Wey Navigations. We'll go back through Sutton Green, and pick up the path at Trigg's Lock. Southbound takes us through the Riverside Park Nature Reserve on the outskirts of Guildford, and we'll head along the boardwalk. As we come into Guildford, we'll stop by the Woodbridge Meadows art work for lunch.
From here it's down the river through town, past Alice at the White House, and over the river at Millmead. We'll carry on past St Catherine's and Peasmarsh, before heading into Farncombe past The Ragged Robin (if it's open) or The Leathern Bottle if not.
Other notes:
- We've provided an automated estimate of the end time and this will be affected by many factors - please only use as a guide. The description above may also have specific notes on ending details.
- If not mentioned in the walk description, the given ending point will be based on the nearest train station or other obvious central landmark, and might not be exactly where the walk actually ends.
