Meeting in front of the High Rocks Inn, this is an anticlockwise walk skirting the edges of Tunbridge Wells, then Rusthall, Speldhurst and Langton Green. There is some lovely Woodland, a couple of hills, and mud is almost guaranteed as we will at times be walking at a low level alongside the river Grom. There are some road stretches through the villages but these are fairly quiet and attractive. There won't be any stops en route apart from drinks/pauses. Post walk drinks and a bar menu are available at the High Rocks Inn.
There is a large car park opposite the pub with a sign saying that it is for patrons only. If using the car park, please stay for a drink. Otherwise there are only a few on street parking places, so please consider offering/asking for lift shares unless you're happy walking a way to the start point. NB if travelling from North or East of Tunbridge Wells, the roads can be quite busy, so please allow plenty of time as we won't be able to wait for latecomers.
If you can, please RSVP to this walk via our Meetup site. This will give our volunteer walk leaders an idea of how many are attending, or if you do not use meet-up please text the walk leader.
If you are a paid up member of the Ramblers organisation, you can ignore any waitlist you may find yourself on.
