This approximately 5 mile moderate walk takes us from Pennard to Pennard Cliffs then following the coastline before descending down to Three cliffs bay (low tide permitting). We make our way from here to Gower Heritage Centre following the river. Our return then takes us along a higher route around the perimeter outside of Sandy Lane to our start. As well as stopping for our packed lunch we will be providing the option to toast the season with the occasional warm cup of Gluwein (non-alcoholic option will be provided) whilst taking in the Stunning views on offer.
The walk is classed as moderate and will be walked at a more leisurely pace then perhaps longer summer walks. Generally the ground is good however there are small sections likely to be muddy. Previous weather may dictate the ground conditions on the day. Dogs are welcome, however will need to be on a lead when near livestock. There will be toilet facilities available at Southgate also Gower Heritage centre.
