Experience the countryside in a Southeast London Borough. We walk along paths in Petts Wood, Scadbury Park and Hawkwood before following the River Kyd for Jubilee Country Park for a return to Petts Wood Railway Station.
The highlight of this walk is that over 90% of the trail is in woods or along paths with trees. The exception is the short section of road walking to and from the train station.
Some paths will be muddy. Toilets are available at the start of the walk and at the finish.
We will have a short break in Scadbury Park. Please bring a snack/packed lunch. There is a large supermarket the other side of the train station should you wish to buy food before the start of the walk.
Travel - Take the 10:55 train from London Bridge Railway Station, arrives Petts Wood at 11:22
Buy a return train ticket to Petts Wood or use Oyster/Contactless or Freedom Pass.
