Overview

We are walking from Hurtwood Control Car Park 11, just off Radnor Road, south of Peaslake. The walk is through heathland and woods via three Surrey villages, Peaslake, Sutton Abinger and Holmbury St Mary. The walk is moderate, but there are a few hills.

We'll stop for a mid-morning coffee/tea break at Abinger Common, so please remember to bring your own flask. There will also be a 45-minute alfresco lunch stop in Holmbury St Mary with an option to pop into the Royal Oak pub for drinks and coffees (but not meals due to time constraints).

Numbers are not restricted. If you plan to walk please let us know by texting the leader with your full name by 7pm the day before the walk.

Car park is approximately half a mile up Radnor Road on the right when coming from Peaslake. It is slightly obscured by trees and unmarked and is relatively small. NB - if you reach the large Holmbury Hill car park further up Radnor Road you have gone too far.
