Overview

UPDATE:  DUE TO STORM BERT'S HEAVY RAIN OVER THE WEEKEND THE INTENDED ROUTE IS FLOODED FOR MUCH OF THE WALK. THEREFORE WE WILL BE WALKING A MODIFIED VERSION! THIS IS LIKELY STILL TO BE WET UNDERFOOT IN PLACES - WELLIES OR WATERPROOF BOOTS RECOMMENDED.

Commencing at Castle Gate, this walk through autumal leaves will circle the Chysauster Settlement before heading over the moors of Carnaquidden Downs and Lady Downs. Leaving the moors behind us we’ll head down old footpaths to Georgia before heading back up to Bakers' Pit and a final break at Rogers' Tower. This walk on a good day has beautiful far reaching views so 🤞
