We are the White Cliffs Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
This is a linear walk from Ramsgate train station to Margate train station, taking in the newly opened stretch of the King Charles III Coast Path.
We will walk down to the only royal harbour in the country, up to the Georgian Wellington Crescent and then along the coastal path looking out to the different beaches and bays until we reach Botany Bay for a 30-minute break. (Bring a snack to eat on the benches overlooking the sea or enjoy a coffee and cake or a pint in the Botany Bay Hotel). We will continue along the clifftops until we drop down to the Turner Contemporary and Margate Sands and eventually reach the station.
