We are the Guildford Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Ranmore Common towards Norbury Park, then descend in to Mickleham before climbing Box Hill from the north. Drop off Box Hill, across the stepping stones and then take the Leith Hill Greenway back up to Ranmore.
Possible coffee stops in Norbury Park and Box Hill but bring a picnic lunch.
Parking at the NT car park on Ranmore Common (paying, NT members free).
Some steep ascents and descents so poles useful.
NT Car Park on the South side of Ranmore Common Road, at the top of the hill from Dorking. From Guildford take the Leatherhead Road (A246), after Thatcher's Hotel at Horsley take the road round to the left and then towards the bottom of a hill TR onto Green Dene before taking a left fork up Crocknorth Road that will eventually take you to the car park.
