This is a figure of eight walk that many of you will be familiar with, which crosses the fields to and from Heydon passing the old Wood Green Animal Centre and back to Chrishall. After the coffee stop near the school we head to Dark Lane and a more wooded trail skirting around Park Wood towards the church.
The terrain is easy going with only a slight hill on the return to the pub where we always get a warm welcome.
Please park in the pub car park if you are planning in joining me for a drink (the pub won't be able to do us food - just drinks - that day as they are pretty booked up).
