Overview

There are 2 significant ascents on the walk. We walk out of Castleton, passing Speedwell Cavern and Treakcliff Cavern. We then ascend and walk along Rushup Edge. We descend to walk on quiet lanes in Perry Dale and then go up the flanks of Eldon Hill. We follow field paths back to Castleton. There are toilets and refreshments in Castleton. No dogs please.
