Overview

A circular walk from Ripley leaving on the Nidderdale way and walking to Hampstwaite, Birstwith, New Bridge and Shaw Mills. The return route is past Hill Top and the Deer park.

There are muddy sections on the walk so walking poles would be useful.

Meet outside the Boars Head Hotel in the centre of Ripley. Parking available in pay and display car park. £3.50 for up to six hours. Roadside parking also available in the village or waste land at Birthwaite Lane on B6165 Pateley Bridge road.
