Please note there are no toilet facilities at the start of this walk.

As this is the last walk for our group in 2024 it would be lovely to share a coffee/ tea or maybe something stronger afterwards at a local pub called “ The Albion” . There are snack and meal menus available. The pub is situated on the opposite side of  the road,  from the pub where we start the walk . There is a lovely heated conservatory area at the back of the pub which can easily accommodate the group.

The walk is 5.4 miles and is an easy level walk.

The terrain is mostly flat with one slight incline.

The walk is mainly on well serviced paths . In the middle section of the walk we navigate through woodland which may be muddy dependent on the weather .

The final part of the walk sees us follow a coastal cliff side route , taking us from Seaham back to Ryhope. This may also be muddy dependent on the weather.
