Meet in The Quay car park (pay and display), Sandwich. (Toilets available. Free parking is available a few minutes walk away in Sandown Road). The railway station is 0.5 mile away and buses stop by The Guildhall.
This delightful walk follows the River Stour from the oldest Cinque Port until we reach farmland then Sandwich Bay. We will then walk a short way along Princes Drive before returning inland across Royal St George’s Golf Club, Sandwich Bay Bird Observatory (where toilets and refreshments are available and recent bird sightings), more farmland, then cross the railway track and back into Sandwich.
