An autumn walk starting at Sevenoaks station. We will walk to Knole Park, and then through the park with its beautiful trees, hopefully still with some autumn colour and the grazing deer. We will pass Knole House and then exit the park, and pass through the village of Godden Green and then cross fields to end at Ightham Moat, where we will stop for lunch. There is a cafe with some covered outside tables and spaces where you can sit to eat.
After lunch we will head back along the Greensand Way to Knole Park and then to Sevenoaks.
Please bring a picnic as the cafe is always busy at weekends and there will not be time to buy and eat lunch at the cafe.
There will be mud in places, especially if there has been more recent rain.
There are pubs and cafes in Sevenoaks if you need refreshment after the walk.
