Overview

From Severn Valley Country Park to Hampton Load. Field paths along riverside, returning via the Old Water Mill and waterfall. One short but steep descent and ascent near waterfall continuing with some road walking and stream and field paths to the park. The Country Park is a reclaimed mining area with extensive paths and sloping banks towards River Severn with numerous picnic tables dotted throughout area. Well worth the trip. Weather permitting a picnic lunch may be taken on return to park. Refreshments are also availible at Park Restaurant.
