Overview

On the last Saturday of the month throughout 2025, Ashford Ramblers are hosting a short taster walk, with the aim of introducing prospective new members to the group and to wonderful world of walking. All of the walks planned are fairly low level with only a few gradual inclines, so are ideal for those not yet ready for our longer Sunday walks.

Non-members are welcome to attend up to three walks before becoming a fully paid up member.

Our April walk is one of about 5.5 miles, which starts from Singleton, heads through the parkland of the Godinton Estate, before returning to our start point.

Members of course are also welcome to attend these walks if they have a couple of hours or so free.

Walk leader is Steve Bourne.
