Overview

Join us on this walk exploring an area of extensive woodlands and pastures a few miles east of Woking along the A3. Paths from Claygate lead past Chessington World of Adventure to wooded Ashtead Common with its Roman villa. Then back through the Crown lands of Prince's Coverts and Great Oaks with strong royal connections. A few small hills and no stiles.

Meet in Claygate at the corner of Coverts Road and Holroyd Road. There is on-street parking in these roads. Please be considerate of residents. There may be a blockage of Coverts Road due to roadworks, but this can be bypassed using the signposted diversion.
