Overview

Meet outside the Chalk Cafe which is next to Southwood Country Park car park, Ively Road, GU14 0LJ (NOT the West side car park in Kennels Lane) ready to walk at 10am.  A pleasant 9.5 mile flat walk initially on surfaced paths until we reach Southwood Woodlands and then on into Hartland Country Park towards Fleet Pond where we will stop for a DIY coffee break.  We then make our way to Eversley Forest where we will stop for either a pub lunch at The Foresters or a picnic.  After lunch we will continue to make our way back via alternative paths.  May be muddy in some areas.  Facilities at the start and lunch stop.  Please let the leader know by 7pm the evening before if you would like to join this walk and ASAP if you would like to eat in the pub.  Liz 07443 453567
