The walk starts at St Ishmaels Sports Club and following a short walk to the coast path then heads in a westerly direction to Monk Haven . From the stoney small bay we head towards the Gann Estuary . Please note the beach section is a mixture of large and small stones so care is needed.
From the estuary we head inland walking through pastures and the roads back to the village of St Ishmaels . There is an option of a further two miles in an easterly direction along the coast path returning on county roads.
For people who arrive early you may be interested to see the new contemporary war memorial adjacent to the entrance . Designed by Howard Bowcott at 9’6’ high it is a memorial to the 12 youths who died in the First and Second World War .
Sorry, this walk is unsuitable for dogs.
Please check the walks programme the afternoon before the walk for any late changes.
