Starting at Whitesands Bay car park, the route goes inland to pass Carn Lidi & Carn Perfedd. Then, after skirting the western side of Carn Penberry, following the coast path (note: can be quite steep in places) for about 3 miles to Coetan Arthur which is a collapsed Neolithic Burial Chamber. From there it is a short walk to the high point at St David's Head with stunning views of Ramsey Island to the south. Leaving St.Davids Head we cross the stream at Portmelgan Bay and then climb uphill to follow the cliff path back to Whitesands Bay.
Note: the car park at Whitesands Bay charges £6 in cash from 1st March. (lone drivers may wish to explore car share)
